Volume 3 (1991): The Possible Human Jean Houston’s vision of human potential is featured. Jean examines the profound influence of archetypes within three levels of reality. David McCleskey reports on Houston’s work of revivifying cultural “Stories,” while Barbara Jo Brothers writes of Houston’s “Sacred Psychology” as moving humanity toward Teilhard de Chardin’s Omega Point. (De Chardin was a teacher of the young Jean Houston.) Counseling articles look at the multiple issues of gifted adults including the thorny one of choosing a career. The remarkable spiritual journal of Etty Hillesum sheds still more light on how Dabrowski’s theory unfolds.
