Frank Falk and Linda Silverman created The Dabrowski Study Group (DSG) at the University of Denver in 1980. From 1980 – 1986, DSG contributed 61 papers, studies, theses, publications, presentations at professional meetings, and research tools, including the Self-Rating Questionnaire. Eighteen years later, at the University of Akron, Frank released the Overexcitability Questionnaire, Second Edition (OEQ-II), a valid and reliable self-rating instrument for adults and teens. As Chairs of Sociology and Gifted Education, Frank and Linda assisted graduate students in their disciplines in conducting research on OEs, writing masters theses and doctoral dissertations, and publishing studies. Frank now consults with researchers worldwide who have translated the OEQ-II and are conducting studies. The Overexcitability Inventory for Parents (OIP-II) is a derivative of the OEQ-II designed for parents.
Dr. Frank Falk is unable to attend due to a death in his family. Dr. Linda Silverman will be conducting this first workshop alone.
